Ways to Give

Cash Contributions

Era Education Foundation accepts donations from individuals, corporations and other foundations to fund its programs. Contributions may be given for a specific program or to the endowment fund and may be given in honor or memory of someone. The endowment ensures the perpetuity of the Foundation and provides a secure source of funds to supplement and enhance EISD’s programs for students. The following donations may be applied to any level of giving.

  • General Endowment: Unrestricted endowment contributions are placed in the General Endowment Fund. The principal is invested, and interest earned on the invested capital is used to support and enrich education in the EISD.

  • Full Endowment Donor: A onetime endowment donation of $10,000 or more assures the perpetuity of an annual award and may be in a donor-selected program area. The donation may be established in the name of the donor or in honor or memory of a loved one. This gift can be made as a onetime donation or pledged over a five-year period.

  • Planned Giving: Persons interested in planned giving should consider memorial gifts, trusts, life insurance and other options recommended by an estate planner.

  • Matched Giving: Donors can often double a contribution with an employer-matched gift. Check with your employer.

Contributions may also include endowment gifts to ensure the perpetuity of the Foundation. While donations of any amount are accepted a minimum of $10,000 is required for a named endowment and may be given as a one-time gift or given over five years. For more information on endowment gifts, please contact the Era Education Foundation. Individuals interested in Planned Giving may consider options recommended by an estate planner.
