Scholarships

CoServ Charitable Foundation Scholarship

This scholarship awards $1,000 per year to a graduate that exhibits good citizenship, and been active in the school and/or community. Also, each student awarded this scholarship shall intend to pursue a degree at either a community college, trade or vocational school or four-year university in any of the following fields of study or in education with plans to become a teacher in any one of the following fields of study:

  • Science

  • Technology

  • Engineering

  • Mathematics

  • Skilled trades (e.g. auto mechanics, welding, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.)

Era Masonic Lodge Scholarships

The Era Masonic Lodge awards the Mirabeau Lamar Award and the Horace Hickerson Scholarship each in the amount of $1,000.

William H. (Billy) and Lela Ardis Holland Knight Scholarship

This scholarship awards two scholarships each in the amount of $1,000.

Era PTO Dakota Lampkin Scholarship

This scholarship awards one scholarship in the amount of $500.

Texas Health Resources Denton Scholarship

This scholarship awards one scholarship in the amount of $250 for students perusing and education in a healthcare related field, such as healthcare administration, nursing, social working or medical school.

Norris M. Boyd Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to one active student in the amount of $1,500 by the Boyd family in memory of their father, Norris Boyd.

United Methodist Church Scholarship*

This scholarship awards one scholarship in the amount of $500.

Reiter Future Entrepreneur Scholarship*

This scholarship awards one scholarship in the amount of $500, but may award more based on need. The Reiter family recognizes that not all students are meant to attend 4-year universities and want to help a student that wants to start their own business independently or through vocational training. The Reiter family would like to support students; especially ones that have overcome obstacles, disadvantages or not top of class.

Matthews Family Scholarship*

This scholarship is awarded to those entering the military in the amount of $500 but may vary based on applications.

First Rosston Church Scholarship*

This scholarship is awarded to one student in the amount of $1,500 for any Era High School graduate.



*These awards use the same application form, but are not reviewed and selected by Era Education Foundation procedures. Selection is dependent on the funders.
